Good Evening, Afternoon or Morning. I’ll be your Internet Surf Attendant, please keep your arms and legs inside the browser at all times.
I’ve been writing online for several years now, none of it professionally (IE: NO paid content on this website). Over that year, I’ve managed to build up a decent amount of traffic, gotten DUGG a few times and even gotten the attention from companies like Krugle. I’ve also managed to get my butt chewed, on several occasions, for failing to point out where I steal content from (I normally tag things “Stolen from XX”) or when I get a story wrong about a company and fail to fact check first (I now fact check – a lot)… Either way, I’ll admit when I’m wrong or when I do something stupid.
I’m 30 going on senile, at times. I currently live in Beaverton, Oregon – inside the Portland Metro area. I’ve lived in numerous places (Wiesbaden Germany, Norfolk VA, Salem OR, St Louis MO, Louisville KY, Lubbock TX, River Falls WI & Kansas City… just to name a few) and my resume use to say that I was a “Sr Web Application Developer and Database Architect”, whatever those are. Now, I’m an Entrepreneur in charge of a computer repair company called Protocol16. Right now, most of my time is put into my Business, but I still do write on ECM Universe (it was “Lost!” for years..) and Whichwaydoigo.com (didn’t know ’bout that one didya…)
On ECM Universe, I normally post about eCMS or ECM (Enterprise Content Management) to include SharePoint and related technologies, Programming, Tech and Internet Industry news and vent my frustrations out as well.
If you ever have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me anytime. As long as I’m around, in the mood, etc – I’ll get back to you – hopefully.
Justin
PS: If you’re wondering about the domain name, I had a business that used this address space a few years back. It tanked and now I occasionally write about entrepreneur stuff that I learned from the issue or how people are more stupid than I was. The domain name is a constant reminder of my stupidity (seriously).
