So, when you mix young companies being bought for millions, an ad campaign that has taken the Internet by storm and the DOW hitting 12,000 - what do you get? It looks like the start of another Tech Bubble. Oddly enough, even CNN, Slashdotters and more blogs around the world are deciding that we’re entering into a new market. CNN even got bold enough to say that Google has helped the situation with the DOW…
The Proof Is In The Jobs
I’ve been contacted by recruiters here recently much more than in the past. In fact, I get 2 REALLY good leads every 6 months that I look in on and usually try to woo my way in for an interview. Continue reading…

It seems that a lot of people are starting to have problems with RAC. I’ll admit, I’ve never taken a project due to time constraints, but annoyingly, I still get invites on certain projects. At some point I’ll stop browsing through the work and close my account.
It seems there are 2 major issues with RAC: Continue reading…

Ok, I’m in heaven…
I found a Slashdot Plugin today that allows for mirrors of websites that are automatically inserted next to the links. No more looking up mirrors - yeah! On top of this, when on Slashdot, you can highlight something in the comments, right click and automatically reply to just that… Wow, I think I’m in heaven. Here’s the developers site.

You should have heard about a student in Indiana that created an Online Boarding Pass Generator for Northwest Airlines. If not, I suggest you wake up and read the news.
Well, Boing Boing was doing their research and found the initial Blog Entry that covers the reasons behind it. After the initial release, some old Senator (Edward Markey) wanted an arrest made because of the PHP script on a website. The flaws had been pointed out numerous times, but the student made a point and allowed the world to see.
After the initial call for arrest, the FBI showed up to chat with Chris. They handed him an order to remove the Boarding Pass Generator while they where out chatting. Oddly, by the time he got back to his house, it was already removed…
Boing Boing will keep updates on their site.

I recently wrote a few stories about Scrapping and MFA Blogs and how they can cause all kinds of problems. I even did an experiment on them (still going at the time of this writing). Now, there is a way to find those sites faster than before - insert a digital fingerprint.
Kirk Montgomery from MaxPower.ca has an interesting WordPress plugin.
After reading over half the article, I decided to give it a try. I downloaded the software, unzipped it and activated the plugin. Within seconds, I had setup the Fingerprinter and now my entries are protected.
