I finally have a reason to build my carputer. I’ve held off for awhile now because I’ve seen too many complaints about the failure rate of hard drives in carputers. On top of that, I didn’t think my car could handle too much of a hard drive being on all the time - ie: I don’t want to shut off my carputer, at all.
Today, I ran across a press release from Samsung that shocked me. A 32GB hard drive thats solid state - something I can put into my car, not worry about power and failure. Check out Samsung’s press release.
